Spartan rally comes up just short - they fall to #1 seed Brigham Young 10-8

Michigan State fell behind 9-1 at halftime but outscored #1 seed Brigham Young 7-1 in a furious second half rally that fell just short. The Spartan defense held Brigham Young scoreless the last 26 minutes of the game but Michigan State could not climb all the way back and lost 10-8 in a MCLA national championship first round game in Irvine California.

The Spartans end the season 11-5 having won their sixth consecutive CCLA conference title and earning their eight consecutive bid to the MCLA national championship tournament.
