Spartans Ground Rockets 21-0

Michigan State's Men's Lacrosse team won their fourth straight CCLA Division 1 conference game Wednesday night 21-0 in a game played in Lansing.

Four Spartan players recorded a hat trick on the night: junior Andrew Nemes, senior Mitch Newton, junior Mark Tratt & freshman Charlie Pistner.

Freshman midfielder Sam Uecker (Forest Hills Central MI) and freshman long stick midfielder Hunter MacDonald (Orchard Lake St Mary's MI) each scored their first collegiate goal.

Justin Overstreet (Howard IN) and Hunter Stephans (Bloomfield Hills MI) shared time in goal to record the shutout for State.

The Spartans improved to 5-4 overall and 4-1 in conference play. They are ranked #16 in Laxpower and #31 in the Week 8 Under Armour MCLA Coaches Poll.

Michigan State heads north to Toronto Ontario this weekend to play The Hill Academy in an International Friendly match as the featured game in the annual Jammer Classic. Face off is Sunday, April 10 at 2:00 pm EDT at Cherry Beach Fields on Lake Ontario in downtown Toronto.
